Lime Marketing is a firm that specializes in life sciences marketing and partners with internal marketing teams to audit and improve their strategy and return on investment. “Lime is a unique marketing strategy and capabilities partner for life science companies who want to do right by their customers, employees, shareholders, and society.” The firm was experiencing sudden growth and partnered with Propr Agency to revisit its branding.

Brand Strategy

Through Propr’s discovery sessions with Lime’s leadership team, we uncovered that the way the former brand represented itself could have been more straightforward; it left users with the impression of an agricultural-related business, and it was difficult to understand the breadth of its vast product offerings. Like many brands in their first iteration, it had defaulted to a cliché brand identity and messaging approach.

Brand Messaging

Through our research, it became clear that Lime Marketing’s prior messaging left users with too many questions about what exactly they do, and improving brand messaging became a key goal.

Our strategy was to accomplish brand clarity and purpose through information architecture, content strategy, and design.

The Website

An intuitive information architecture organized their content into clear, succinct, user-first categories to improve the user experience. In addition to refined design, typography, and select photography, the page-by-page content strategy helped to organize content, improve messaging, and make copy-dense pages more accessible to the user.

Operationalizing the Brand

Beyond the brand identity and the new website design and development, Propr Agency empowered Lime’s team with the tools to implement their new brand across all communication channels. These tools included custom graphics for frameworks, custom icons for products, templates for sales presentations, marketing collateral, and client deliverables.

Develop a brand system that characterizes a leading marketing firm in the life sciences vertical; 2. Leverage UI, design, and strategy best practices to help the firm communicate what the firm does and with whom they work.
